GLBTI rights in Australia have come a long way in a relatively short space of time, but when it comes to Marriage Equality, our Federal Government lives in the last century. They ignore the vast majority of Australians who support Marriage Equality. How can we make marriage equality a reality in 2013? AME think we should build that majority, increase the volume of the voices of our non GLBTI family in getting this message heard. I agree. It is always a good time to talk about the importance of marriage equality, and the festive season presents a great opportunity. It is a conversation that we will be having on Christmas day.
