I just love this post by Rob Watson.  He sets out 10 wonderful (and true) reasons why GLBTIQ parenting IS different to Straight Parenting.

1. We have to live up to scrutiny
2. Prospective LGBTQ parents have less external pressure
3. LGBTQ parents step up to challenges more readily
