[USA] - Same-sex parents book returned to school library shelves in Davis County - Benjamin Wood - Deseret News
On the topic of Books, it was great news to read about a GLBTI book being returned to the shevles of a US library after the intervention of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
The book "In Our Mothers' House" by Patricia Polacco was removed from shelves and placed behind library counters after a group of parents petitioned the district to review the book's content. Parental permission was then required for a student to check out the book.
The ACLU achieved a sensible result here. Well done.
